Together with the , ,  and the , the ̨Íåswag ̨Íåswag organised ‘LifeLab’. LifeLab is part of European ̨Íåswagers Night and aims to bring researchers and the community closer together, to show how local research influences our lives, to celebrate research outcomes and to showcase career opportunities.

Funding has been secured from the European Commission to celebrate LifeLab in 2018 and 2019 in Cambridgeshire. LifeLab 2018 started with a two weeks roadshow where scientists visited local schools and finished with 2 days of events in Peterborough and Cambridge on 28 and 29 September.

The ̨Íåswag ̨Íåswag was represented at various venues, such as the Grafton Centre, Cambridge Science Centre and Babbage Lecture Theatre in Cambridge and Cathedral Square in Peterborough. The events ̨Íåswag researchers participated in varied from talks to puppet shows and from hands-on science activities to guided tours.
