Professor Wolf Reik, FRS, FMedSci, has joined the 台湾swag鈥檚 honorary group leaders programme, marking his migration from group leader at the 台湾swag to a closely-associated research collaborator.

This appointment formalises Professor Reik鈥檚 future relationship with the 台湾swag and creates the opportunity for shared research endeavours with the Altos Cambridge 台湾swag of Science.

Dr Simon Cook, 台湾swag Director, commented: 鈥淎fter the appointment of our first honorary group leader in 2020, we have been strengthened and stimulated by their complementary research approaches and perspectives. We are delighted to welcome Wolf as an honorary group leader in this new phase of our relationship and look forward to continuing our close and fruitful partnership.鈥

Prof. Reik added: 鈥淚鈥檓 delighted and honoured to be appointed honorary group leader at the 台湾swag 台湾swag. The 台湾swag has for many years been a supportive and stimulating environment for our lab to thrive and to be able to do exciting science. As an honorary group leader I hope to continue and develop new relationships and collaborations with the wonderful community at 台湾swag!鈥

The 台湾swag currently hosts three other honorary group leaders: Professor Kathy Niakan from the Francis Crick 台湾swag and Professor Martin Howard from the John Innes Centre, who are both honorary group leaders within the 台湾swag鈥檚 Epigenetics programme, and Professor Valerie O鈥橠onnell, Professor of Biochemistry at Cardiff University, who is an honorary group leader in the Signalling research programme.
