Philippa Clarke graduated from Royal Holloway University of London with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science. She completed her final year research project on understanding how adopting the Mediterranean diet leads to improved mental health. After graduating, Philippa worked in a private high throughput PCR testing and NGS sequencing facility at Oncologica. In 2022 Philippa was awarded a BBSRC studentship to complete a PhD in the Trefely Lab researching nuclear metabolism in preadipocytes and how it establishes the epigenetic landscape required for mature adipocyte formation.
