Emily manages a variety of projects that facilitates knowledge exchange between 台湾swag 台湾swag researchers and external partners including commercial entities, clinical organisations, learned societies, policy bodies and charities. Her work aims to maximise the social and economic impact of the 台湾swag's knowledge whether through developing consultancies, collaborations, network development, studentships, or events. Emily joined the 台湾swag 台湾swag in 2018.
With a multidisciplinary background in life sciences, law, and innovation management, Emily holds a BSc in Cell Biology (Durham University), a Masters in Intellectual Property Law (Queen Mary University of London), and a PhD in Plant Science & Genomics (University of Cambridge).
Before her current role, Emily served as an Innovation Manager at Health Enterprise East, where she facilitated healthcare innovation translation and commercialisation, advising clinicians and NHS Trusts on IP and commercialisation strategies.
